Joshua and Emily Wilken began serving Trinity Baptist Church in January 2019 when Joshua became Interim Pastor. He was officially called as Pastor in June 2019. Joshua and Emily have been married since 2006 and together have two children, Hayden and Harper. In 2011, Joshua graduated from Criswell College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies, and in 2013 from Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Theological Studies. He loves spending time with his family, traveling, being outdoors, and fishing.
Lisa and Mario Retta joined Trinity Baptist Church in 2005. Lisa has served as the Ministry Assistant since 2011, where she loves serving the Lord using her gifts in administration. Her and Mario have been married since 1985 and together they have five children and six grandchildren. She loves her family, serving the Lord, and doing various projects (especially reviving old furniture).
Kiel and Cortney Pankonien joined Trinity Baptist Church in October 2023 and shortly after, Kiel was called as Youth Pastor. Kiel and Cortney have been married since December 2004 and have one son, Brody. Kiel spent 18 years at Garland ISD as the Security Operations and Emergency Management Coordinator. After years of dealing with kids at their lowest moments, Kiel was determined to make a difference in the lives of teens to be able to help them manage the daily drains of life, seeing the hope that only Jesus can offer. Kiel currently attends Liberty University Online in the Wilmington School of the Bible/Biblical Studies program. He loves spending time with family on the lake or in the woods and watching his son in the Rockwall HS Orange Wave Band. His desire is to make disciples of the next generation, to spread the Great News of Jesus with lifelong impacts, preparing them for college and beyond.
